SUMMER CAMP 2010

Ages 4& up, Monday-Friday from 1:00-4:00pm, $80.00 per week.

This year we have some awesome summer camp programs for your kids! We have special themes each week, pick your favorites and sign up now before they are full, we have limited space available! Themes are not gender specific, they are all set up to accommodate both boys and girls, so they will all have fun!

June 14-18 • Gymnastics Week

Your child will be challenged and have fun in this self-esteem boosting class. Campers will develop the basic skills of gymnastics with focus on the forward and backward rolls, head stands, hand stands and cartwheels. The children will learn how to safely use all of the gym’s equipment (bars, beams, and rings). Children will be encouraged to learn at their own pace.

June 21-25 • Music Week

This week is all about music and movement. All your camper needs is an imagination and an open ear. We will use our voices, instruments, and a variety of props to work on steady beat, rhythm, movement and listening skills. We will also engage your child's creativity by making our own instruments.

June 28-July 2 • Ballet Week

If your child has ever wanted to try ballet, this is the week to do it! Ballerinas will experience a traditional ballet class with barre exercises, stretches, twirls, and leaps. Children will practice grace and balance as they learn a beautiful routine. Parents will be invited on Friday to watch a demonstration of what our ballerinas have learned.

July 5-9 • Treasure Island Week

Campers will step back in time to visit Treasure Island together. Sail across the High Seas, explore a deserted island, and dive into a treasure hunt as a pirate or mermaid. This action packed Week provides kids opportunities to practice role-playing, imagination, comprehension and reasoning skills.

July 12-16 • Karate Week

Learn a few classical moves from a Karate champ. Kids will experience an action packed, safe and fun Karate class each day. This class combines elements of boxing, martial arts and aerobics to provide overall physical conditioning and coordination. Does not involve physical contact between participants.

July 19-23 • Superhero Week

Do you have what it takes to train to become a superhero? We think you do! No kid can go wrong with our speed and agility training, target practice and get-away-car-driving test. Superhero Week will bring your child’s imagination to life through role play.

July 26-30 • Dance Week

Dance week gives boys and girls a chance to learn group dances everyone should know! By the end of dance week kids will be able to rock the Electric Slide, Macarena, Cubic Shuffle, Chicken Dance, and more! No prior dance skills or coordination required.

August 2-6 • Enchanted Castle Week

We are searching across the land for beautiful princesses and brave knights who would like to join us for a week in our enchanted castle. Here we will have a royal tea party, practice dancing for the grand ball, and learn dragon slaying techniques. Costumes will be an essential part of this week's role playing.

August 9-13 • Zumbatomic Week

ZumbAtomic® is a fusion of Latin dance moves (salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, hip-hop and more) set in a high-octane workout fashion designed to let kids ages 4 and up max out on fun and fitness. Your kids will have a blast, learning to express emotion through dance and let their energy out in a fun, productive environment.

August 16-20 • Yoga Week

This week offers a fun approach to yoga through animated poses and stretching exercises that promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques teach kids how to focus, relax and develop self-control. For kids who may not enjoy conventional sports, yoga may provide a much-needed physical outlet in a noncompetitive environment.
